RISE UP INDONESIA: A wish for 2019

    In the last week of this years, Indonesia is mourning. 22th December 2018 a tsunami in sunda strait struck Banten and Lampung. I wanna say a condolences for all the victims in this tragedy. According to Jakarta Post, At 1 Pm local time on Christmas Day, 429 had been killed, 1,485 injured and 154 remained missing, while 16,082 people sought safety and shelter away from their houses. Authorities said the tsunami "may have been triggered by an abnormal tidal surge due to a full moon and an underwater landslide following the eruption of Anak Krakatau".

    Perhaps the most famous volcanic disaster in history, the 1883 eruption of Krakatau, also called Krakatoa, triggered tsunamis that killed tens of thousands of people. (Anak Krakatau island has built up in place of Krakatoa, which was obliterated in the 1883 event.). Krakatoa is an active volcano located at the junction of Sumatra and the Java Islands. This volcano marks the changing of the subduction system from oblique along Sumatra to perpendicular along Java.

      In the geographic strategies, Indonesia has located in The Ring Of Fire area. It meas Indonesia has a vulnerable hit by disasters. The Ring of Fire is a major area in the basin of the Pacific Ocean where many earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur. The Ring of Fire is sometimes called the circum-Pacific belt. Regional Geology Indonesia is situated at the boundaries of three major plates on the southern margin of the Eurasian Plate, those are: the Eurasian, Indo-Australian and Pacific-Philippine Plates.

   
     Live in the country where many have earthquake and volcanic eruptions is not easy, mitigation and precaution is very important. Before a tsunami struck Banten and Lampung, earthquakes and tsunamis hit the region of Lombok, Palu, Sigi, and Donggala. The Earthquake is killed so many human in there. How it breaks my heart. Actually Lombok, Sigi, Palu and Donggala it's not fully recovered. It's takes time so long.

     I hope that's will better soon. Aamiin. In the other hand, a good news is Indonesia has created a unforgettable history in the 2018. The first is PT Freefort, a half quarter stocks of PT Freefort now officially  has mine Indonesia. So proud of it. Second, Indonesia succesfully to be hosted in the Asian Games 2018. And so many more i can't mention one-to-one. Gratefully.

     Indonesia has a big potential to be developed countries, Indonesia just need a big support from young generation.I wish in the 2019, we are will make Indonesia proud. For all the victims, stay strong, stay safe, and God bless.
